Advanced Facilitation Skills – Open Programme
Do you have the skills you need to accelerate business transformation?
Are you a change agent?
Do you know how to get people talking about the real issues?
Can you work with people to figure out what might be blocking change?
Can you catalyse it? If you’re not the catalyst, then who is?
And do they have the right level of expertise?
In our experience, effective facilitation skills can really help unlock organisations, particularly in times of crisis.
In crisis, people can freeze, feel paralysed and forget about learning and innovation. This is where skilled facilitation comes in and, increasingly clients are looking to Sheppard Moscow to help embed those skills within their organisations.
To help meet this need, we run a popular Open Programme in Advanced Facilitation Skills, the aim of which is to help people increase their range of facilitation skills, allowing them to respond better to the changing needs of their clients.
As well as focusing on their skills of facilitation, the Sheppard Moscow Advanced Facilitation Skills Programme also allows participants to develop more understanding of what they personally bring as a facilitator; what enhances and hinders their performance, and how they may hold themselves back from being really successful.
People considering their facilitation skills are often looking for tools and techniques such as brainstorming, icebreakers and problem solving techniques. Whilst this Programme provides frameworks and models for designing learning events and other group thinking processes, and will help you to understand when different techniques will be appropriate, it is not its principal aim. The prime focus is to explore how skilled facilitators work with individuals and groups in change contexts – hence the “advanced” nature of the programme.
Advanced Facilitations Skills is aimed at those who are trying to change the culture of their organisations: experienced and skilled managers, leaders, trainers, consultants and facilitators of personal, team and organisational change.
The next Advanced Facilitations Skills programme runs from the 17 - 20 November in Northern England.
